Are you 55 or older and feeling the pinch on your income or savings? You’re in good company. Many folks in the same boat are seeking a financial lift after years of dedication and hard work. But fear not! Equity release might be the ticket.
It offers a way to unlock the hidden wealth in your home without the hassle of selling or relocating.
But it isn’t suitable for everybody
Are you eligible?
If you’re 55 or older, own a UK property valued at £70,000 or higher, and have mostly paid off your mortgage, you could qualify for equity release.
While these are the basic criteria, additional conditions may vary based on your property type.

How does equity release work?
Equity release offers a way to use your property’s wealth without uprooting or committing to monthly loan repayments.
The most popular option for many is a lifetime mortgage, which gets settled when your home changes hands, whether after your passing or when transitioning into long-term care.
How much can you release?
You can usually release a minimum of £10,000, but the maximum amount varies based on several factors, such as your property’s value and your age.
Typically, the older you are, the more you can release.
